Kesha Makes Post-Rehab Appearance, Looks Stunning!

Source: People

Kesha (formerly, Ke$ha) recently took time off from touring and recording to check herself into rehab, seeking treatment for eating disorders.  I am so happy to hear that she has completed her program and is looking better!  She made her first public appearance this past weekend since being released and she looks great!

Kesha, who also recently dropped the dollar sign from her name and changed her Twitter handle, (shoutout to us sharing the middle name Rose!), attended the 60th anniversary benefit gala for the Humane Society, held in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

Her sheer black gown contrasted well with her multi-colored hair, adding a classic touch to the creative and free-spirited singer we know and love.

People reports that an attendee of the benefit said this about the star:

She was clearly enjoying being back on the red carpet.  She looked great…very healthy.”

The 27-year old pop star sent a few messages to her Twitter page while in treatment, mostly through a friend, but she tweeted herself once, saying,

“hey It’s Kesha from treatment. I just wanted to say that this is really hard and necessary work. I’m grateful for all the love and support. i couldnt do this without you.”

I am so so stoked to see her back!  She looks stunning as always and I am glad she got the help she needed.  Hopefully we get some new music soon!

And just a quick little note here:  I am proud of Kesha for being open about her struggle and seeking help.  As a public figure, she is looked up to by a lot of young girls, some who may be struggling with eating disorders as well.  It is inspiring to see her humble herself and reach out, as well as showing anyone struggling that they are not alone.  I’ve loved her since the start and it seems like she really has a great heart.

Way to go, Kesha!
