Fashion designer and The Hills star Lauren Conrad is quite busy lately, taking care of two dogs, running an online marketplace, managing two fashion lines, designing a line of environmentally-friendly bags, and of course, planning a wedding to fiancé William Tell. A relaxing vacation is just what the doctor ordered. So she grabbed her best girl friends (including Lo Bosworth!) and headed to–where else?–Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for her bachelorette party. Anyone who watched The Hills knows Cabo is the place to go, but that drama always ends up inviting itself to the party. Her wedding celebration was no exception.
Conrad has always been pretty private about her personal life (or at least, post-Hills), but if there was ever any uncertainty before, let there be none now: she’s a massive advocate for equality. The proof is in the reason she walked out of her own bachelorette party, which she tweeted about.
A manager for The Office told E! News that there must have been a misunderstanding.
We invite all diners to participate in our games. We’ve never had an issue before with homosexual couples. We are not homophobic at all. We have waiters, runners and a chef who are gay. We’ve never had a homophobic incident at The Office. We hire an MC who runs the games and I don’t know what he may have said or how he addressed the crowd, but it must have been a misunderstanding.”
I hope that was just the case! Homophobia is not cool at all.
Despite the minor setback, Conrad appears to be having a great time and has been sharing several shots on her Instagram with the hashtag “#donttellmrtell.”

I love Lauren so much and this is another reason why. Way to stand up for your beliefs, LC! I applaud you.
