Ansel Elgort Joins Ice Bucket Challenge

Screen Shot 2014-08-11 at 5.15.13 PMIt’s the newest viral video craze but unlike the Harlem Shake, it’s for a good cause.  Let me introduce you to the Ice Bucket Challenge, whose mission is to raise awareness and money for ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease).  If you are nominated, you have 24 hours to douse yourself in ice water and upload a video of it.  Then, you get to nominate others to do the same!  If they refuse, they are asked to make a donation to an ALS charity.

A few celebrities have already accepted the challenge and the latest star to participate is Ansel Elgort from The Fault In Our Stars.  You must see his adorable video!

How cute is he?!  Elgort was nominated by Pierce Fulton and in turn, he nominated Teen Wolf actor Dylan O’Brien, TFIOS author John Green, and TFIOS co-star Nat Wolff.  Along with pouring a bucket of ice water on himself, he donated $500 to research for the disease.  Go Ansel!

First of all, Ansel is extremely attractive and this video made my day.  Secondly, I cannot wait to see if John Green accepts the challenge.  I would pay money to see that!

Have you done this challenge yet?

I provide credit and sources back to your
weblog? My blog is in the very same area of interest as yours and my visitors
would truly benefit from a lot of the information you provide here.
Please let me know if this okay with you. Regards!
