Fall Out Boy has just released a video for their song “Uma Thurman,” which features paintball, indoor skydiving, Brendon Urie from Panic! At The Disco and Big Sean, but no actual Uma Thurman.

The video is about a girl named Sarah, who won a contest to be Fall Out Boy’s personal assistant for 24 hours.  Some of her duties include walking a zebra, riding in a dune buggy, covering Patrick Stump with rabbits, chicks, and ducklings, and riding a mechanical bull with Pete Wentz. Where can I sign up to be their next assistant?!

Screen Shot 2015-04-17 at 10.38.47 PMSarah gets to do a lot of cool tasks, but her final one may be FOB’s most important in the video.  She is shown painting “Uma” on a tank bearing two American flags, then demolishing a truck that has “Article 1, Section 36.06” written on it.

So, what is Article 1, Section 36.06?  It’s from Alabama’s constitution, which prohibits lower-court judges in the state from issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples, according to Rolling Stone.

Well, Fall Out Boy, that’s one way to make a statement…and I love it!

If you love the song, grab it from their album “American Beauty/American Psycho,” and watch the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17th to see them perform it live.

What do you think about Fall Out Boy’s bold statement in the video?  And what task do you think would be the coolest?  I’m totally down to walk a zebra.
