Perhaps you’ve been busy at a summer internship or have been without Wifi for a week and are wondering what’s happening in Hollywood…no worries! When it comes to celebrity news, I’m always on top.  So if you need something to talk about at your next family BBQ that doesn’t involve when you’re getting married or what you’re majoring in, bring up the latest news in the entertainment industry.  Counter the question, “When are you having kids?” with, “I don’t know, Grandma, but Jaime King just had a baby and Taylor Swift is its godmother!”  Now grab a drink, sit back, and relax, as you enjoy my latest installment of “What You May Have Missed.”

Ladies (and gentlemen, no judgment here), meet your new celebrity crush: Matt McGorry.  Of course, you know him as Officer Bennett on Orange Is the New Black and Asher Millstone on How to Get Away with Murder, but you’ll probably want to get to know the real Matt McGorry after you check out his Twitter feed.  McGorry is an outspoken feminist (as you should be…it’s equal rights, people), but now he’s drawing attention to another important issue: the Black Lives Matter movement. In case you were unaware, everyone’s favorite vampire slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar is on Instagram…and super active on the site!  For this July 2 edition of #ThrowbackThursday, Gellar shared an adorable picture of herself with husband Freddie Prinze, Jr.  She wrote,

My #TBT is going way back #BodyBeforeBaby I wouldn’t trade my kids for anything, but once in a while it’s ok to be envious of what you used to look like. #Goals #Dreaming This also reminds me…I need a vacation”

Oh, girl, don’t we all.

Speaking of #goals, here are some goals I notice in the picture:

  • #bodygoals
  • #bikinigoals
  • #vacationgoals
  • #relationshipgoals
  • #tiptoegoals (seriously, how adorable is that?)

Now who’s game for a Buffy marathon?!

P.S. (Sorry not sorry for the tongue twister title.  I love alliteration…clearly.)

Chris Pratt is a superhero, a raptor trainer, possibly the new Indiana Jones, and better than that, all about equality (for those who are scared of the word “feminism”).  During Radio 4’s Front Row, the Jurassic World leading man talked about how his toned and totally objectifiable body has been a major benefit to his career.
